It may not be the most vibrant place, but the location – especially with good weather – definitely makes it worth a visit. We are at a motorhome site along the Moselle, near the building of the harbour master of the pleasure marina. Monthermé is actually quite similar to Givet. Unfortunately, the weather didn't really cooperate in Monthermé either, which was a shame because the RV park is beautifully located on the Meuse. It would have been wonderful to sit outside there.Na Givet was Monthermé onze volgende bestemming, een klein stadje op ongeveer 40 km afstand van Givet gelegen. Het is misschien niet de meest bruisende plek, maar de ligging – zeker met mooi weer – maakt het zeker een bezoekje waard. We staan op een camperplaats langs de Moezel, vlakbij het gebouw van de havenmeester van de plezierjachthaven. Monthermé is eigenlijk best vergelijkbaar met Givet. Ook in Monthermé werkte het weer helaas niet echt mee, wat jammer was omdat de camperplaats prachtig aan de Maas ligt. Het was heerlijk geweest om daar lekker buiten te zitten.
